The two guys shown here, Matthew McNelly and Joey Miller decided to hide their faces by drawing a mask with permanent markers. Shown here with in their masks (I guess permanent marker doesn’t come off too easy), the two burglars take this memorable mug shot. This is probably the first time any criminals were permitted to take a mugshot while still wearing masks.
The robbery took place in Carroll, Iowa. The men were wearing hooded sweaters and painted faces. The police easily found the pair a few blocks away. What a suprise the police caught them so quickly. At least the police had a good laugh. If more criminals were like these, the crime rate would be much lower.
